A Look at Playstation 3

I am one of the gaming freaks like all of you reading this piece. When Sony came up with the play station series I was very excites as I could get away from the Nintendo boxes and looked forward to some high resolution and high performance gaming experience. I was proven right by the Play station and play station 2 and so obviously was on a look out for ps3. First things First, I am a person who loves his games and have no biased opinion. I have tried out xbox 360 and PS2 prior to using the ps3. So, here's what I think about the ps3.

Let's begin with the positives: Swanky design with quiet The operation is pleasing to the eye and environs, all games are played in high-definition and the psp-like user-friendly interface makes it easy to operate. ps3 also plays high-def blu-raymovies in addition to up scaling standard DVDs. PS3 has a built-in Wi-Fi and a 40 GB hard drive which allows us to play online at good speed.

Moving on to a few failed promises; Compelling exclusive games are still few and far between. A major let down is that PS3doesn 't play PS2 games besides PlayStation Home and rumble controller are not available; a USB port on the back would've been nice and no infrared port means non-Bluetooth universal remotes aren't compatible. That restricts our choice of remotes and takes some fun out of the experience.

Nintendo

While its clear that Sony has cut a few corners to get its entry-level PlayStation 3 below $ 400, it's still a great package for the money--so long as you can live without backward compatibility for PS2 games and are willing to waitseveral months for the more promising exclusive games for PS3 to hit shelves.

Hope you like gaming because just for the sheer fun of it PS3 is worth spending money on.
